KTR Takes Dig at Pm Modi Over Gautam Adani Becoming World’s Third Richest Man

The TRS working president and industries minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday poked fun at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise to deposit Rs.15 lakh in citizens’ bank accounts over the increase in the assets of billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani.

In response to a tweet about India’s billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani emerging as the world’s third richest man, KTR took potshots at the Modi government on Twitter.

KTR wrote on Twitter: I guess all of that ₹15 lakh that was promised to every poor Indian got deposited into only one account. Galti Se Mistake Modi Ji?

Upon hearing about Adani’s news, Telangana Minister retweeted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to deposit Rs.15 lakh into the bank accounts of poor citizens. The TRS leader said that by mistake, all the promised amounts of the beneficiaries were deposited in only one account without naming the business tycoon.

It is not the first time KTR has poked fun at the Prime Minister. ‘Funds in Swiss banks rose 50% to a 14-year high on the back of a surge in institutional holdings, he said, and he reminded the Modi government to fulfill the promise it made for the 2014 election.

The Minister also shared photos of news reports about Prime Minister Modi’s promises to double farmers’ income by 2022, launch bullet trains by 2022, double India’s economy to 5 trillion dollars by 2022, and provide housing for every Indian by 2022.

New goals for 2047 are fantastic, he tweeted. But, Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, what about your previous promises for August 15, 2022? The nation would like to know.  Where is the accountability if you don’t even acknowledge your own targets and subsequent failures to achieve the same? the Minister added.
