Kuwait Ministry of Education Launches Free PCR Tests Before School Exams

Amidst the Covid 19 cases and the apprehensions for another wave, Kuwait had launched free PCR tests for the unvaccinated students of Class 12th. This comes a week before their school exams.

Kuwait Ministry of Education Ensures Highest Safety Standards 

The Kuwait Ministry of Education released a press statement recently. They said that the measure to launch PCR tests comes in coordination with the Ministry of Health (MoH) from 8 am to 8 pm local time.

The statement said that this move is to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are maintained for the students. And further, reduce the risks of Covid 19 infections.

The statement said that the move aims to ensure the highest standards of health and safety for the students and to reduce the risks of Covid-19 infection. At the same time, the students who appear for the school exams will have to show the vaccination certificate issued by the MoH or the negative PCR Test result.

Any student who suffers from Covid-19 infection or has contact with the infected should not come to school for exams, it added.

Kuwait Launches Drive-Through Vaccination 

Last week, Kuwait inaugurated a drive-through vaccination centre to fasten the vaccination process across the nation. The drive-through is located at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway in the capital Kuwait City.

It the first drive-through vaccination centre in Kuwait. The Ministry of Health spokesman Abdullah Al-Sanad said that the drive-through represents the ministry’s continuous efforts towards speeding up the process of the vaccination of everyone in the Arab country.

The drive-through is equipped with clinics and emergency chambers and is built by the Kuwait Oil Company and other government institutions. It is also the largest vaccination centre in the country. The center covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters and comprises 20 booths which enables around 80 people to get vaccinations within three to four minutes. It also has 200 medical workers.
