L Ramana Says to Join TRS, Sends Resignation to Chandrababu

Finally Telangana TDP president, L Ramana made it clear that he will be joining the ruling party TRS in near future.  He wrote a letter of resignation to the TDP to its national president N Chandrababu Naidu.

He thanked Naidu for his support for 30 years in the party and for the posts he enjoyed so far. Ramana explained in the letter that he has decided to join the TRS fold and for Telangana development.

The decision came after his meeting with the TRS boss and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday along with Minister of Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao.

He informed that he prepared to join the TRS fold after its president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gave an assurance of recognition and post in the party.

During his meeting, he discussed MLA tickets, key posts, current political scenario, opposition parties, weavers welfare, Huzurabad bypoll, and others.

It is learned that the chief minister assured him of due recognition and a key post in the TRS. It is likely that he may contest the Huzurabad bypoll if the TRS leadership seeks to contest. The TD leader will soon join the TRS in the presence of the chief minister.
