Tourism and excise minister V Srinivas Goud today said that Mahabub Nagar will soon become a medical hub in the state.
The Minister handed over documents of the existing collectorate building to the health wing. The new hospital is to come up opposite the bus stand in Mahabub Nagar.
The government plans to construct a new multi-specialty hospital on the premises with all modern and latest facilities.
He stated that a new multi-specialty hospital will be constructed at Collectorate complex premises. The government accorded permission for the new hospital to address the health needs of the people in the district.

The minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gave immediate sanction for the construction of this hospital. It will be constructed on the collectorate building site after shifting it to other premises.
The government has allotted Rs 300 cr for the purpose he claimed. We will build state of an art hospitals to cater to the needs of people, he said. It will prevent health problems and fatalities he hoped.
Srinivas Goud extended thanks to the chief minister for the new hospital and funds. Soon we will start related works, he added.
