Masajids and Temple will be rebuild in New Secretariat premises: KCR

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Telangana K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed grief over the demolition of the religious places during the ongoing demolition of Secretariat’s old buildings in the Secretariat premises in order to construct grand spacious New Telangana Secretariat.

Chief Minister KCR In a statement released here on Friday promised to the people of Telangana state that the government will take up the construction of the temple as well as the mosque in the secretariat premises in a big manner.

Telangana government has decided to construct a new secretariat complex by demolishing the existing old buildings.

In view of the process of demolition of old tall buildings in the Secretariat premises, the debris had fallen on these religious places thereby causing damage to these religious places. He said he felt really bad when he came to know about the damage caused to these religious places and was deeply in pain and It should not have occurred.

The government’s aim was not to cause any damage to temple and Masajids,” but to construct new secretariat in the place of the old buildings the Chief Minister said.

The KCR promised that the government will rebuild the Temple and the Masajids in the Secretariat premises and the bear the cost of reconstruction from government funds and will construct temple and mosque in a much bigger area and in a majestic manner without hindrance to it cost, and the same would be given to the concerned for its management.

He added “I will soon meet the concerned persons of the temple and Masajids and will obtain their suggestions,” Along with the construction of the secretariat the government will rebuild these religious places.

He further and said that the Telangana state is a secular state and the spirit will be save guarded at any cost. The incident was just an accident and hope that everyone will understand this with an open heart
