Mee Seva bandh shelved, to run as usual

Hyderabad: Telangana Mee Seva Sangham president Jeevan Prasad today announced that there will be no bandh of Mee Seva services from Thursday as announced earlier and the services would continue as usual.

In a statement here  today, Jeevan Prasad said they have postponed the Mee Seva services bandh on account of the functioning of caretaker government in the State in view of the December 7 Assembly elections. Stating that most of their problems were resolved, the Mee Seva Sangham president said they will put forth their remaining unsolved demands before the new government and achieve them. He also said that the Mee Seva centers would for two more hours if necessary.

Making it clear that they have shelved the bandh, Jeevan Prasad said they have already met the Chief Secretary, who assured them that he would talk to them about their remaining problems after the elections leading to cancellation of bandh call.  (NSS)
