Hyderabad: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy has helped 26 lambada workers of Pacha Thanda return safe homes in his Suryapet district. The tribal village thanked the minister for their safe return.
Due to corona lockdown in two Telugu states, they held up at work Pulichinthala project site in Andhra Pradesh state. Fortunately, they got connected to the minister who attended their call for help. In knowing the problem, Jagadish Reddy has alerted district collector Vinay Krishna Reddy to shift them as per norms. The collectors instructed RDO who shifted them back home after conducting health check-ups for corona and other ailments. The minister continued to monitor the same for their safe return. The village head and people expressed thanks to the minister for the timely help.
