Telangana government will extend all help to farmers whose crops were damaged by the untimely rains.

The minister for agriculture S Niranjan Reddy and Panchayat Raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Satyavathi Rathod, others visited damaged crops in some villages in previous Warangal and other districts. The government announced that compensation will be given to rain-ravaged crops in the state.

The ministers interacted with the farmers and git details of damage that occurred in rains.  It was reported that some villages in Warangal, Suryapet, and other places received untimely rains leading to damage of the crops.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was to visit the damaged crops and the ministers came to farmers instead. There are reports of crops damaged due to unseasonal rains. Some farmers tried to protest against the government for not helping them in crisis time.

The ministers convinced them to get the crops and offer financing assistance. Our officials will assess the damage and the government will provide the necessary help, they said. The ministers said that they will give a report to the CM to decide on compensation.

The TRS government is farmers friendly and will give necessary assistance, they said. We will give a report to the chief minister to take a decision in this regard. The ministers expressed grief at the damages of crops. KCR will decide to give suitable compensation to damaged crops, they reiterated.

MLA’s, MLC’s, and   Officials concerned were present.
