Congress Party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy today slammed the Chief Minister of the state KCR and asked him as to what he was doing when the neighboring Andhra Pradesh government is taking up the Rayalaseema lift irrigation project.

Speaking to media persons, he made it clear that KCR did not have any right to seek the votes of the people from the Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency as he failed to stop the water loot of the AP government.
He alleged that the neighboring state government was taking up the Rayalaseema lift irrigation project by citing 3 tmc of the Kaleswaram project. He said that the Rayalaseema project would turn the state into a desert.
He said that the state government was not able to utilize the 2 tmc of water of Kaleswaram now. He said that the state government was not able to complete the SLBC project even after seven years of its rule.

Commenting on the public meeting of the CM in Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency, he asked the CM if it was necessary to hold the public meeting amid the steep rise in the Covid 19 virus cases.
