Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone for eight national highways

Hyderabad: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways  Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation of 14 NH projects in Telangana today thru virtual mode. These projects include 765.663 kms long roads worth Rs 13,169 crore.

The Centre and state governments took up the roads worth Rs 13,169 cr for laying 766 km along 14 national highways in Telangana.  Through a video conference from Delhi, the union minister has launched the new roads and laid the foundation stones for some others.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Minister Prashanth Reddy, Dayakar Rao, Satyavathi Rathod, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, and MPs and officials attended the conference.

Gadkari extended all support for the speedy completion of the national highways. He vowed to spend funds by taking coordination with the state government. He assured of timely development of the roads across the country as the Centre is determined for development of all states with equal priority.

Gadkari also extended greetings to the people to avail the new roads. Prashanth Reddy has apprised the union minister of the roads completed, taken up and those are in the pipeline.
Extending thanks to Gadkari, Prashanth Reddy appealed that the Centre will seed up the national highways as planned to provide improved connectivity among other cities in the state of Telangana.

The roads dedicated to the nation were — four lanes of Yadadri to Warangal, two lanes from Nakirekal to Thanamcherla. Rehabilitation and developed ORR at Medak, Manneguda- Ravulapally two lanes, Mahadevpur-Bhupalapally two lanes.

The roads laid foundation were — Suryapet Khammam four lanes, Mancherial-Repallevada four lanes,Ramsanpally- Manglur four lanes, Kandur – Ramsanpally, Manglur- Telangana border four lanes.Repallywada to Telangana border, Nakirekal- Nagarjuna Sagar rehabilitation, development, Kankapur- Khanapur two lanes.
