No need for panic about a second wave of coronavirus: Health Director

Telangana Health Director, Dr. Srinivas Rao today asserted that there is no need for panic about a second wave of coronavirus as the government has taken all measures to curtail and check the spread.

Addressing a press conference at his office at Koti along with DMO Ramesh Reddy here, the director informed the people to be more cautious over the coronavirus spread. The state government is fully prepared with adequate beds, medicines, jabs, staff, and officials to take on the virus spread and prevent, he maintained.

Telangana state received a total of 24,49330 doses of corona jabs. We are in the forefront to give vaccination jabs to the affected people who are to be more cautious to prevent virus spread. If necessary measures are not taken or ignored to follow protocols those who have taken jabs will also have a chance to get the virus he said.

Dr. Srinivas Rao further said that in spite of taking the vaccination in the drive the people must follow protocols like wearing masks, sanitizing hands and maintaining physical distance, and cleansing their premises besides being more cautious for personal hygiene.
