Hyderabad: Reacting to the Dubbaka bypoll debacle, TRS senior leader and finance minister T Harish Rao today said that they are accepting people verdict that came in favour of ruling party rival the BJP.
We will review the Dubbaka bypoll results and vie for development of the segment, the minister said. He informed to media that he shoulders total responsibility for the defeat in the polls.
We will rethink what went wrong the finance minister, who only conducted a serious campaign for the TRS candidate in the polls, has said. The government will sure work for Dubbaka segment development despite our defeat, Harish Rao said.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for the development of the segment and the state, he added. The TRS leadership will review the defeat and the poll results, Harish Rao said.
The minister has extended thanks to voters who supported the TRS in the polls. Harish Rao while extending thanks to the leaders and party functionaries has said that the poll results have reverted their expectations.
We thought to win the polls and the results are different, he said.
