Online Classes for KG to PG from July 1: Sabitha Indra Reddy

State Government decided to conduct only online classes no physical (offline) classes for Schools and Educational Institutions from KG to PG level from July 1.

No regular classes will be conducted as per the Government’s call to protect the student’s health. Keeping in view the Corona pandemic and cases and health of. For children and students, the government took a call to go ahead with online classes.

After a meeting with officials, Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy told presspersons that only online classes will be allowed.  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken a decision in this regard to protect the health of the students she said.

She also informed that 50 percent of teachers have to attend the classes on alternative days.  The officials concerned were instructed to follow Corona norms and standards for the KG to PG online classes,  she said. The Minister also said private schools would have to implement GO 46 this year as well, which means they should not increase fees and should collect only tuition fees on a monthly basis.

Sabitha Indra Reddy informed us that there is no change in the schedule for common entrance tests. The CETs will be held as per the previous schedule she clarified.
