Pakistan Hindu Council Invites Pilgrims For Faith Tourism; Sets Up Hindu Committee

In the latest update, the Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) has welcomed a gathering of 250 pilgrims, including from India, to visit the country trying to encourage “faith tourism”, Dawn news announced.

Pakistan Welcomes pilgrims For Faith Tourism

The gathering will visit the sanctuary of Paramhans Ji Maharaaj, a holy person who had passed on at Teri town, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak locale in 1919. “Various Hindu pilgrims from India, the United Arab Emirates and the US will show up in Peshawar on Jan 1 to visit the Samadhi at Teri,” PHC supporter Ramesh Kumar Vankwani told Dawn news.
The Hindu Council has organized the program in a joint effort with Pakistan International Airlines.
“This is the second time that the board has welcomed Hindu travelers from different nations so they can see with their own eyes the presence of a lenient and pluralistic culture in Pakistan,” Vankwani added. 54 Hindus from India, Canada, Singapore, Australia and Spain had visited the nation last month.
The gathering was driven by Shri Satguru Ji Maharaaj Ji, the fifth replacement of Paramhans Ji Maharaj.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmad had observed Diwali at Teri sanctuary last month to communicate fortitude with neighborhood individuals from the Hindu people group and to invite pioneers from different pieces of the country.
As per Vankwani, the PHC welcomed the Chief Justice just to give a message to “disdain mongers that the not set in stone to thwart their loathsome plans”. In his discourse at the sanctuary, he had guaranteed the Hindu people group that they partook in similar freedoms as different Pakistanis.

Pakistan Sets Up Hindu Committee

Pakistan on December 29 declared that it has set up a very first committee of Hindu leaders to deal with the minority local area’s sanctuaries in the Muslim-larger part country.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs comprised the Pakistan Hindu Mandir Management Committee on the example of the generally working Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

As per an authority explanation, the debut meeting of the Pakistan Hindu Temple Management Committee was led by Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri.

Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Asif Hashmi advised the gathering on the issues. The ETPB is a legal board that oversees strict properties and places of worship of Hindus and Sikhs who had relocated to India following the parcel.
