Parents Protest against School over fee hike

Hyderabad:  Parents of the students of St. Andrews School have protested against the sudden fee hike by the administration of the school.

On July 14th parents expressed their anger over the sudden increase in tuition fees and claimed that the administration is collecting different fees on the name of tuition fees.

one of the parents of a student said “The managements have added infrastructure fees, computer fees, and numerous other fees under one tuition fee. We are ready to pay the tuition fee but we can not afford the burden of other fees”.

14th July has been set as the deadline for the payment of fees by the school administration and had intimidated to cut off the link of an online class for the student. On 12th July parents asked the school administration about this but the administration gave an unclear response to the parents and today these parents came to school and protested against the school administration.

As a result of the protest, The school administration asked parents to give some time to clear this issue and agreed to continue online classes until the final decision is made.

The Telangana government had ordered to collect only tuition fees on a monthly basis and recently issued GO No.46 instructing to all the schools affiliated to different boards not to increase the fee for the academic year 2020-2021.
