Hyderabad: Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today said that Pragathi Nivedan Meeting is being conducted on a grand scale so that the state people remember it forever. Speaking to media persons at Kongarakalan along with Minister Mahender Reddy and others, KTR said that never before in the Indian history such a big meeting was held so far. The meeting is first of its kind in the country and the ruling party will explain about the four and half years rule and future plans he stated.
The progress report card of the government will boost the ruling party leaders and activists alike for future elections, the minister maintained. This meeting will encourage the TRS rank and file in all districts to get ready for elections come any time. Stating that he and Mahender Reddy were not able to attend the Cabinet meeting at Pragathi Bhavan he said that the arrangements have been made in full swing for the expected 25 lakhs of people from 31 districts. A large number of vehicles were pressed to transport them from the districts. The Pragathi Nivedan Meeting will be conducted even better than they expected as the people are flocking in much enthusiasm he remarked. (NSS)
