Piyush slams KCR for provocative talk, asserts BJP men were chowkidars of the nation

Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader and Minister for Railways & Coal Piyush Goyal today asserted that every citizen in the 130-crore largest democracy, who was working for the nation was a chowkidar.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, Piyush Goyal said the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre had successfully electrified every village in the country immediately after coming to power. The Modi government also raised Income Tax exemption limit from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh providing great relief to some three crore people in the country.  While the nation was racing towards monumental development, the enemies of the nation like the corrupt people have ganged up against the Narendra Modi government and spreading vilification campaign against it. In just five-year rule, the BJP government made tremendous progress every year and submitting its progress report before the people every year on May 25.

The Union Minister lashed out at the Opposition parties for their hatred towards Narendra Modi and 23 Opposition parties formed into a gang and speaking lies. Stating that the people are aware of the anti-people policies in the previous Congress-led UPA government, the Union minister pointed out that they were making available led electric bulb for Rs 38 against Rs  310 during the UPA regime. By making available led bulbs at cheat rate, the power consumption in the country has come down considerably, he added.

Piyush Goyal also slammed Sampitroda for making controversial comments at the behest of the Congress party. Asserting that the BJP never compromised on the National security, the BJP workers and leaders were discharging their functions virtually like chowkidars.

G. Kishan Reddy, former MLA and contestant from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency said Narendra Modi proved to be one of the great Prime Ministers of the country. He also disclosed that he will file his nomination on March 25.

State BJP president Dr Lakshman slammed Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for his provocative remarks against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He asked the TRS supremo whether his front was a federal front or family front. He also slammed KCR by describing him as a bigger Muslim than Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.  Senior BJP leader and former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, senior leader N Ramchender Rao and others also spoke.  (NSS)
