HYDERABAD: Excise and Tourism Minister, V Srinivas Goud today met with Kanchi seer Vidyaranta Bharati Swamy of Hampi Peetham and discussed proposals to set up a Kamadhenu University and related issues.
At a meeting in the city, they discussed the new varsity to come up in 1800 acres of land near the Krishna river in the Narayanpet (old Mahabub Nagar) district.
The University will provide help to farmers on organic farming to make benefits, and adopt environmentally friendly cultivation practices. The use of cow dung and urine in farming will be useful for more yield he said.
The Minister said that Ayurvedic medicine is of great help to treating people by using natural resources to beat Corona and have resistance. Srinivas Goud said that he will apprise the matter to Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao on the proposals and offer necessary help and cooperation.
