PM Modi Preaches Lord Buddha On Dharma Chakra Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that India has shown that they can face any challenge as they continue to walk on the path of Lord Buddha.

PM Modi Celebrates Ashadha Purnima-Dhamma Chakra Day

As per the latest reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday shared messages to mark the occasion of ‘Ashadha Purnima-Dhamma Chakra Day’. He said that India has shown that the country can face even the most difficult challenges while walking on the path of the Buddha. He said that the entire world is moving in solidarity by following the path and teachings of the Buddha.

“In this, ‘care with prayer’ initiative of the International Buddhist Confederation is praiseworthy,” Modi said.

He further emphasized that the harmony in the minds, speech, and resolve and between the action and effects can guide everyone through the pain and towards happiness. He added that this further inspires us to work for the general welfare during the good times and gives everyone the strength to face difficult times.

PM Modi added that when Lord Buddha forged in the fire of sacrifice and endurance, speaks. However, these are not just words but an entire cycle of “Dhamma” that begins and the knowledge flowing through from him would ultimately become synonymous with the welfare of the world.

He emphasized that this is the main reason why the world has followed him throughout the years. He further quoted the “Dhammapada”, he said that hate does not quell hate. But rather the hate is calmed with love and a big heart.

PM Modi said that even in times of tragedy, the world felt the power of love and peace. And with the knowledge of Buddha and humanity, the world will indeed touch new heights.

President Ram Nath Kovind Also Preaches Lord Buddha

At the same time, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind also shared Lord Buddha’s guidance for ending the suffering and further advocated his message for non-violence. He said that the world bows to the teachings of Buddhism is because of its logical, rational and simple answers to many of the problems of human beings.
