Police officer injured during a conflict between TRS and BJP workers in Nizamabad

As per the latest reports, a police officer on duty was injured in Nizamabad during a conflict that broke out between TRS and BJP workers.

Protests against Nizamabad MP Dharmapur Arvind for failing to keep his electoral promise turned violent on Saturday when BJP workers clashed with TRS workers and threw stones at them, injuring a police officer on duty in Dharpalli Mandal.

A large number of TRS workers gathered in Dharpally after learning that MP Arvind was going to unveil a statue of Chatrapati Shivaji there. BJP workers arrived as well and began arguing with TRS workers. The argument quickly turned to jostle, and stones were thrown.

The TRS workers were planning to question the MP on his electoral promise to get the Turmeric Board sanctioned to the district and how he broke his election promise.

BJP lost the trust of the Telangana public, says MLC Kavitha

Kalvakuntla Kavitha, a member of the Nizamabad Legislative Council, stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lost the trust of the people of Telangana, ahead of the 2023 Telangana Assembly polls.

On the occasion of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s birthday, Kavitha conducted special pujas at Balkampet Temple and took part in several programs

Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha questioned the BJP’s criticism of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), stating that the BJP didn’t get deposits in a majority of Telangana seats.

“Telangana’s citizens have lost faith in the BJP. It’s great to hear that PM Modi wished CM KCR a happy birthday,” she added.

“With the way Chief Minister KCR has served society, he is an ideal for everyone,” she said
