Hyderabad: TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday called upon the party workers from Rajanna Siricilla district to work hard to win the Zilla Parishad chairman’s Post in the upcoming local body elections. He said he would work for the victory of the party leaders, who have worked for his victory in the just concluded elections to Lok Sabha.
Addressing the Sircilla Assembly constituency-level party workers meeting, Ponnam asked the party leaders to complete selection of MPTC and ZPTC candidates by April 20. He said the selection of candidates should be done through “select and elect” method. He said they would give top priority to the leaders under 40 years. He asked the DCC presidents and MP and MLA candidates to sort out problems that may arise among the contesting candidates. (NSS)
