Pralhad Joshi denies that BJP threatened Kavitha to join the party

According to the latest reports, Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi has completely denied that the BJP had threatened TRS MLC K Kavitha to join the saffron brigade.

In a press conference here on Friday, the Union Minister claimed that the Chief Minister was spreading lies about his daughter being threatened to join the BJP by its leadership.  “We don’t do such things to induct a leader in the party. If Kavitha or KTR want to join our party voluntarily, they are welcome,” he said.

Condemning the attack on Nizamabad BJP MP Dharampuri Arvind’s residence by TRS workers, Joshi stated that because the BJP was gaining strength in the state, the TRS was targeting its leaders in order to instill fear.

It was reported that TRS workers also demonstrated in front of the BJP MP’s home.

BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri claimed on Thursday that Kavitha, TRS MLC and Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s daughter, called Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge and expressed her desire to join the party.

Taking issue with the Chief Minister’s absence during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the State, the Union Minister stated that the Chief Minister was afraid to face the Prime Minister because he was involved in numerous irregularities.

He claimed that the TRS government, which had a surplus budget when the state was formed, was now in debt as a result of the Chief Minister’s bad policies. He claimed that not implementing central schemes cost the state a lot of benefits
