Tourism and Culture Minister V Srinivas Goud today instructed the officials concerned to prepare proposals for tourism policy and development.
He held a key meeting with officials on world tourism day on September 27. To mark this occasion Telangana should come up with new tourism proposals to be ideal to other states, he said.
The Minister asked the officials to get ready with proposals on tourism development programs in the state. The same to be presented to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on his return from Delhi for his approval, the minister said.
Due to Corona last year we didn’t give awards to those contributed for tourism development in the state. This time with dip in cases the Government will offer the excellence awards to encourage them for better tourism facilities and services across the Srinivas Goud state.
The KCR Government initiative gave good result with UNESCO world heritage structure award to Ramappa Temple in Mulugu district, he claimed.
Now we have to make proposals for the same for Charminar, Golconda, Koti, and thousand pillars temple, he said.
The Minister directed the officials to get ready with related proposals to be sent after a look by the Chief Minister. He announced to give awards to those who contribute for tourism development.
