Vijayawada: On the fire incident which was occurred in Andhra Pradesh in the wee hours of the day, Several top leaders including President of India, Vice President, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and others have expressed their deeply anguished.

Taking to the social media platform Tweeter apart from President, Vice President of India M. Venkiah Naidu who hails from Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and others have expressed deeply anguished by the loss of lives in this incident.

Prime Minister also rang to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy and enquired about the situation and the relief work. Jagan Mohan Reddy told him that the state government has already announced the exgratia to the kit and kin of the victims and the relief measures are going on.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President Venkiah Naidu have also tweeted in Telugu official language of the Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswabhushan Harichandan expressed shock over the fire at COVID Center in Vijayawada. He expressed profound sympathy to the family members of the deceased and directed the authorities to provide better medical treatment to the injured. It is learned that 11 people have been involved in the incident so far.
Meantime State Home Minister Mekatoti Sucharita reacted to this incident. She pointed out that the hotel was taken on lease and run by Ramesh Hospitals, a Pvt hospital where COVID 19 patients were being treated. 40 patients & 10 medical staff were at the hotel at the time of the incident. Officials were directed to launch immediate rescue measures.
