Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today stated that the people at his Siricilla Assembly segment need not worry about rains and its effects.
He instructed the collector, Municipal commissioners, SP, and other revenue officials to take immediate measures in the segment. KT Rama Rao informed that the people should avoid fear as the official machinery is ready to tackle the situation and provide all help to the rain and flood victims.
Through a Teleconference from Hyderabad, the Minister stated that the people in low-lying areas should be shifted to safe places. NDRF teams were sent to the segment to evacuate the flood victims. The teams will see that the flood effect is reduced by diverting the same and there is no need for fear, he said.

Those who are under rain effects and need assistance should be shifted to rehabilitation centers, KTR instructed. The minister said that the officials should coordinate to provide timely support to the rain victims. Ensure that more rehabilitation centers are set up to provide shelter and food to the rain or flood victims. The Minister further asked the officials to ensure electricity and supply of basic needs to the people affected by the heavy rains in the segment. The official machinery is ready to tackle the situation and provide all help to the rain and flood victims, KTR said.
