Raja Singh says he is receiving threat calls from Pakistan

Goshamahal Legislator T Raja Singh claimed on Monday that he was receiving threatening phone calls purportedly being made from Pakistan.

In a complaint to DGP Anjani Kumar, he stated that he received phone calls on Monday afternoon from a Pakistan phone number beginning with 92 and another phone number beginning with 44.

“The callers told me my residential address, names of my family members, and their details and said they would kill me,” Singh said adding on the calls made on WhatsApp, they claimed their sleeper cell network was very active in Hyderabad and one call would end his life.

Raja Singh said that he has been receiving threatening calls every day. “I have given written complaints many times to the police department but no action has been taken. Not even one person has been arrested as of now.” he added.

Hyderabad Police serves another notice to Raja Singh for hate speech

The Hyderabad Police have served another notice to Telangana MLA and suspended BJP leader T Raja Singh for making a hate speech at a rally in Mumbai on January 29.

The notice was issued by Mangalhat police to the controversial legislator for making communally provocative comments, in violation of the conditions imposed by the High Court when it ordered his release last year.

The Telangana Legislative Assembly Member from the Goshamahal constituency has been given two days to respond to the notice.

Reacting strongly to the new notice, Raja Singh claimed that the state is being ruled by the ninth Nizam. He stated that he was not afraid of being imprisoned again.

On January 26, he was served with a notice for allegedly offensive remarks he made last year about a religious community.
