Revenue officials trampled more encroachments over Lake in Rajendranagar

The team of officials reached the spot along with the JCB machine and pulled down two shades and a huge shed that according to them has come up over the water body area.

Later, talking to media persons the Mandal Revenue Officer S.Chandrashekar Goud said, “Our team has already square off the lake area and today we cleared all the encroachments that were found constructed inside the lake area.”

“After receiving the complaints, he said, our team of revenue officials visited the lake area recently and found that some of the encroachments came up over the water body. Today, we cleared all the encroachments that were square off during the inspection earlier. Few local people resist the officials from carrying out demolitions but they were placated to bring the situation under control.”

Explaining about the recent drives against encroachments over government lands and water bodies in Rajendranagar area, the MRO said “Last week we cleared encroachments over Palle Cheruvu in Mailardevpally area besides some other measures against incursions over government lands at different places.
