RS Praveen Kumar says no to politics

Senior IPS Officer RS Praveen Kumar, who has resigned from his post and opted for VRS, today made it clear that he didn’t have any interest in politics at this juncture of his life .

He however hastened to state that there was nothing wrong in joining politics while noting that it will be wrong to think that the entire system can be changed by doing politics.

He said that he has not yet taken any decision about his life after his retirement and added that he would announce his decision during the next couple of days.

He also made it clear that he would not contest in the upcoming by-elections from the Huzurabad Assembly constituency as the ruling party candidate.

Speaking further, he also said that the state would soon have a new revolution in its politics. He said that the weaker sections of the society had suffered a lot during the last seventy to eighty years and added that he would fight for the rights of those oppressed classes.

He said that he would fight for the fulfillment of the aspirations of Phule, BR Ambedkar, and Kanshi Ram. He said that his dream was to see the development of the children of all sections of society. He also said that he would begin his post-retirement journey from the Adilabad district.

The close friends of Praveen Kumar are saying that he would soon enter into mainstream politics. Social media also went viral stating that Praveen would join the ruling TRS party and contest as its candidate from the Huzurabad assembly seat in the upcoming by-elections.
