The safety level and efficiency levels of the vaccine which is developed by Russia for the treatment of the COVID-19 patients is not expected because of the absence of a date, the top authority of CSIR- Center for Cellular and Molecular biology said on Wednesday.
The vaccine which is made by Russia was registered on Aug 11 it was announced by the president of Russia Vladimir Putin it is considered to be the first vaccine for the treatment of the COVID-19 patients in the world.
Director of the CCMB Mr. Rakesh k Mishra ha said that if people are lucky the vaccine made by Russia will work.
He also said efficiency and safety of the vaccine made by Russia are still unknown and have not conducted the stage 3 trials properly he also said in stage 3 the vaccine is to be tested in a large number of people and should wait 2 months to see if any of them get any viral infection or not.
It doesn’t look like they have done the testing on a large scale if they have done it then show us the date of it Mr. Mishra said this should not be allowed in any country unless and until the vaccine goes through stage 1,2and 3 trials.
The Russian government has passed the law recently, some time back that they have the fast track the preparation of the vaccine a CCMB official said.
When asked about the vaccine which is been developed in Indian pharmaceutical companies Mr. Mishra said that the data regarding stage 1 and 2 trials are yet to be published and it’s expected at the end of the august or in the first week of September.
It will not be surprising that the 1 and 2 stage results are encouraging because many of the vaccines have passed it the real test will be in the 3 stages Mr. Mishra pointed out.
The first dose of Russian Vaccine sputnik V which was developed by Gamaleya national research center for epidemiology and microbiology of Russia was administered to Putin’s daughter she started feeling well.
Russia president Vladimir Putin claims that vaccine has shown the efficient during tests and lasting immunity from coronavirus.
