In a shocking incident late Wednesday night, a scrap trader, identified as Mohd Sajid (37), was murdered in Falaknuma. A resident of Fatimanagar, Sajid was attacked after returning home from work.
According to police officials, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when Sajid received a phone call from some individuals asking him to step outside to discuss an issue. Upon coming out, a man named Siddiq allegedly stabbed Sajid multiple times, causing severe bleeding injuries. Despite efforts to save him, Sajid was pronounced dead after being rushed to Osmania General Hospital (OGH).
ACP Falaknuma, Mohd Jaweed, confirmed that a case has been registered and special teams have been formed to investigate the murder. Senior police officials visited the crime scene later that night to oversee the ongoing investigation. The motive behind the attack is still unclear, and further details are awaited.
