Hyderabad: A staff Reporter and Senior Journalist of a daily who was injured in a road accident succumb to death.
According to the family members of victim Scribe Gattu Buchanan, 51, Buchanna, a resident of Mavala Mandal of Adilabad Dist, was on his way home on a two-wheeler last Friday evening when he lost control and fell near Ramnagar.
He was shifted to Wardha in Maharashtra for better treatment after sustaining a serious head injury however he dies on Saturday night while receiving treatment.
The funeral is scheduled to take place on Monday as corona tests are required for the body. He survived with a wife and two daughters.
The TUWJ has expressed deep grief over the death of journalist Buchanan. Union District President B. Ramesh, General Secretary Lakshmipuram Raju, Vice President Anwar, Treasurer Shanam Praveen and others visited his family members and expressed deep condolence to the family members.
