Finance Minister T Harish Rao said today informed Singapore High Commissioner H Symon Wang that Telangana State is noted for hassle-free mechanism and facilities for investments.
There High Commissioner called on the minister at Aranya Bhavan here. He evinced interest to invest in data center green energy and pharma sectors.
The Minister apprised the official team of Singapore on the permissions and facilities for the international companies which began their businesses. The minister said that the government of Telangana is in forefront of development as it lifted water at 630 Mt high at the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project.
He said that it is a wonderful project built at by spending huge funds to irrigate crops in lakhs of acres. The Minister informed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for the welfare of state by spending Rs 45000 Cr. Our government allocated huge funds for farmers, pensions and other poor sections. The minister listed out the schemes being followed by other states and the Centre appreciates.
The High Commissioner said that they will plan out to invest in the chosen sectors if the government offers all support and cooperation. To this, the minister agreed to provide and instructed the officials concerned to take necessary action and steps.
In another meeting by both sides the figure of investment to be made clear according to information.
