Siricilla Apparel Park to Provide 10000 Jobs: KTR Lays Foundation for Gokuldas Co

IT, Industries, and Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today said that Siricilla district will be developed as a role model in the textile sector. He laid a foundation stone for Gokuldas Images Factory at Peddur Apparel park.

Along with Gokuldas company MD Samir Hinduja, and officials, the minister participated in bhumi puja for the company to provide jobs and employment to local youth.

Speaking on the occasion the minister said that soon Siricilla will be a place to provide 10000 jobs to local youths. Most of them will be women of the weavers’ community and will get monthly revenues, the minister asserted.

The minister further said that the government is committed to the development of the weavers’ community with insurance facilities. On par with farmers getting Rs 5 lakh insurance the weavers will get the same amount if any one of the family head dies, Gokuldas Images Factory announced.

The Siricilla apparel park will get world facilities and the employees get Rs 12000 minimum monthly amount amid an eco-friendly environment. The workers will get transportation facilities and make better lives in the future, he said.

The government will provide the best facilities and infrastructure for the apparel park, KT Rama Rao said. The park will come up in 60 acres and will start production in six months to export international-level clothes.
