Southwest Monsoon Makes Inroads into Portions of Telangana

The onset of the southwest monsoon in Telangana was marked by its entry into Nagarkurnool, Gadwal, and Nalgonda on Monday, as reported by the Telangana Development Planning Society (TDPS).

This advancement is anticipated to continue over the next few days, gradually encompassing the remaining parts of the state. Light to moderate rainfall was experienced across various areas, a trend expected to persist.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) noted the southwest monsoon’s progression into additional regions, including central Arabian Sea, parts of Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and further areas of Telangana, West, Central, and Northwest Bay of Bengal.
