Sports and Tourism minister V Srinivas Goud today exhorted sports persons to show their best performance and win medals in future Olympics.
He participated cheer 4 India program at LB Stadium here and greeted the sports team going to compete in the Olympics. The Minister received a baton of light from triple Olympian Mukesh Kumar at the stadium.
Speaking on the occasion the minister claimed that Telangana Government will come up with the best sports policy in the country. Our government is encouraging games and sports like never before, the minister said.

We build 30 plus stadiums and giving funds for acquiring sports kits, training and improving skills. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced big cash prizes to those who win Olympic or world-class sports events he announced.
The minister expressed hope that 115 sportspersons will be representing India including a sports team from Telangana in the future Olympics.
Goud has asked the sports team to win the medals by giving their best performance in the sports.
Telangana hopes to see the sports team return with some victories.
