State government implements several welfare schemes for farmers: Telangana Ministers

Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today said that the state government implements several welfare schemes for farmers.  Along with Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy attended development programs including rythu Vedika at Mudu chintalapally village.

They also started a farmers cooperative building and laid a godown foundation for 1000 Mt capacity in the district. The godowns are to be completed by spending Rs 2 Cr as planned, Niranjan Reddy said. The government started Rythu Vedikas afresh in addition to Rythu bandhu financial assistance, the minister stated.

Niranjan Reddy attributed the scheme of farmers’ welfare to vision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. We increase godown capacity, push farming activities, offer timely help through the KCR Government plan, the minister stated.

The farmers will get complete support for farming activities by taking timely advice on variety of crops, fertilizer, equipment, and latest practices using technology he said. He also said that only Telangana state in India is offering such a big scheme for farmers.  Nowhere else the famous rythu Bandhu is offered except in Telangana state, he claimed. Rythu Bhima helps the farmers as it gives monetary help to deceased kin,  besides 24 hours power supply to farming activities, he said.

Malla Reddy said that Medchal Malkajgiri district stands first in the development of all sectors.
