Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) on Tuesday staged a ‘Rasta Roko’ protest at various bus depots in the city.
According to JAC Co-convenor Thomas Reddy, several union leaders who took part in the protests were arrested in the morning hours and some of them were let off later. “We are not afraid of arrests, as our only aim is to fight for the demands of the RTC employees,” he added.
The strike has entered the 11th day on Tuesday with authorities continuing to make alternative arrangements for transport services in the city.
