Telangana Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar today stressed the need for use of electric vehicles to check pollution instead of those using fuel.
The Minister instructed the officials to ensure hassle-free services to the people using online facilities to get a variety of services without coming to the offices.
He attended a New Year program at the RTA Khairatabad office here and greeted the staff. He asked the staff to provide improved services to support people using green vehicles.
Our aim is to check increasing pollution levels by supporting electric vehicles, he said and hoped that the staff will work more effectively.

The state government supports the use of electric vehicles to check pollution. It is time to switch to electric vehicles as the pollution rising causes health problems.
The Minister hoped that the people would avoid coming to offices to get the services online. We take steps to ensure that there is no shortage of authority cards for issuing multiple licenses to the people.
The people should prefer electric vehicles and get support to check pollution, the Minister said.
