Taliban Rejects UN Report Over Active Foreign Terrorist Groups In Afghanistan

As per the latest reports, the Taliban government in Afghanistan has dismissed a UN report which guaranteed that the presence of foreign terrorist groups has expanded in the conflict-torn country after the breakdown of the previous organization in August last year.

In a proclamation on Monday, the Taliban’s Foreign Ministry said: “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan emphatically dismisses the new report by the UNSC Monitoring Team declaring an increment of unfamiliar gatherings in Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate considers such reports lacking proof, archives and addresses neither in light of a legitimate concern for Afghanistan, the district or the world.”

The Ministry further said that the Taliban system has executed its responsibilities spread out in the 2020 Doha Agreement and “doesn’t permit anybody to undermine any country from Afghanistan’s an area”, local news informed.

It added that the Taliban government will assume a positive part towards security in Afghanistan, the locale and the world.

The report by the UN Security Council Monitoring Team said that there were “no new signs that the Taliban has found a way ways to restrict the exercises of foreign terrorist fighters in the country”.

Responding to this case, the Taliban’s agent representative Bilal Karimi said on Monday that “no visit and no gathering between anybody occurred”.
