Tamil Nadu cancelled UG and PG exams

Chennai: By keeping in view of COVID-19 pandemic Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Palaniswami on Thursday ordered to cancel of semester exams and allow students to proceed to the next academic year.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Palaniswami in his stamen said a high-level committee was set up to examine the possibility of holding exams for UG and PG students and the committee has said holding exams during this crisis is not possible.

CM K. Palaniswami said based on the guidelines issued by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC) UG and PG students of engineering, computer science, arts, and science course are exempted for this semester exam only.
