Telangana govt cancels Intermediate supplementary exams, all students promoted

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on today has decided to cancel the Advance supplementary examination of Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE).

K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to cancel the Board of Intermediate Education Advance Supplementary examination due to the COVID-19 outbreak and keeping the safety of the students in mind  said the Education Minister P.Sabita Indra Reddy here on Thursday.

A total number of 1.47 lakh students will be benefited by this decision education minister said. All the students who have failed in second-year BIE exams of march 2020 will now be declared passed but these students will be passed under compartmental basis,  Education Minister added.

Telangana Education Minister said the students can collect their marks memos from their respective colleges after July 31. However, the students who have registered for re-correction or re-counting there results will be announced after 10 days.
