Hyderabad: Telangana on Sunday records 1982 new cases of COVID 19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 79,495. Yesterday over 12 people have died, taking the total deaths recorded in the state so far stand at 627. The new cases were recorded in 24 hours.
As per the media bulletin released by the director of the Public Health and Family welfare on Sunday the total Corona Cases in the state stands 1982.
Over 1669 people have recovered and discharged from the various hospitals of the Telangana, taking the recovery number 55,999.
Officials revealed that the no of active COVID cases in the state is 22,869 and 16,112 are in home isolation. The government has advised them to be careful in home isolation and no need to come out of the houses.
The health authorities are undergoing COVID tests in various parts of Telugu State and its capital Hyderabad. Meanwhile, the medical health department pointed out that the 6,13,231 corona tests have been done across Telangana so far.
The death rate of Hyderabad has also come down drastically in the last few days but the Government advised the general public to be cautious.

GHMC- 463 Medchal – 141 Rangareddy – 139 Karimnagar- 96 Gadwal – 93 Jangoan – 78 Warangal Urban – 71 Peddapalli – 71 Bhadradri Kotagudam – 64 Kamareddy- 62 Nalgonda- 59 Nizamabad- 58 Siddipet- 55
According to the bulletin, 49 cases have been reported in Sangareddy Dist. However, Director General of Public Health (DPH) Dr G. Srinivasa Rao hoped that the corona cases will be in Control in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(Corona Cases) limits by the end of August due to the initiatives of the State Government, however, it would be controlled in the other places in September.
