Telangana records 2092 New Covid 19 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana on Thursday recorded 2092 new cases of COVID 19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 73,050. Yesterday over 13 people have died, taking the total deaths recorded in the state so far stand at 589.

As per the media bulletin released by the director of the Public Health and Family welfare on Thursday the total Corona Cases in the state stands 73,050.

Over1289 people have recovered and discharged from the various hospitals of the Telangana, taking the recovery number 52,103. Officials revealed that the no of active cases in the state are 20,358.

The health authorities have undergone 21,346 tests taking the total no of tests in Telangana is 5,43,489. Officials revealed that the results of 1550 are declared.

According to the bulletin 535 new cases were recorded in the GHMC area, 169 in Ranga Reddy,126 in Medchal Malkajgiri, 123 in Karim Nagar dist,128 in Warangal Urban Dist, 101 in Sanga Reddy Dist. Meanwhile, Corona extraction continues in Andhra Pradesh. Another 10,128 cases were reported over 24 hours. 77 people lost their lives. This is the highest number of corona deaths recorded in a single day in the state. The highest number of 1,544 cases was reported in East Godavari district. Among the districts where the number of cases has already crossed 20,000 are East Godavari (26,229), Kurnool (22,063) and Anantapur (20,061). The total number of positive cases across the state reached 1,86,461. The total number of deaths reached 1681.

District-wise deaths

Due to COVID, 16 people in Guntur district, 12 in Visakhapatnam, 10 in Srikakulam, 10 in Chittoor, 8 in East Godavari, 7 in Krishna, 5 in Nellore, 4 in Kurnool, Vijayanagaram and West Godavari districts, two each in Anantapur, Kadapa and Prakasam districts have died.

Another 8,729 have been discharged from hospitals and a total of 1,04,354 have recovered so far. 80,426 people are receiving treatment. A total of 22,35,646 diagnostic tests were conducted in the state.
