Back in 2017, the then Tesla CTO JB Straubel said that there are talks of the company moving into the restaurant business.

Then in 2018, Elon Musk took to Twitter to say that, “Gonna put an old school drive-in, roller skates & rock restaurant at one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in LA”. A couple of months later, Tesla applied for building permits for restaurant and Supercharger stations at the Santa Monica in the United States of America.

Then the project went into the cold for around three years. But now the company has re-applied for a building permit earlier this year. Tesla New Models S & X To Have PS5 Level Entertainment

Tesla recently announced that the new models of the Tesla cars S & X will have PS5 level computing power. Musk earlier claimed that the users will be able to play The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.

Soon after the announcement, Twitteratis started to make comments and asking questions. One of them said that they can imagine people hacking into Tesla and draining up the computing power to mine Bitcoins. This would leave the users wondering why the car’s battery is running out low so fast.
