Police in Hyderabad has arrested three young boys for blackmailing a Class 10 young girl subsequent to getting to know her over social media.
The charges were caught by Malkajgiri police under Cyberabad police commissioner limits after a complaint was filed by the young girl’s family.
As per police, the young lady’s family had as of late got her a cell phone to attend online classes. She began talking with the three young boys on Instagram.
The blamed, all minors, had additionally met the young girls and taken a couple of photos and made a few video recordings. Following a couple of days, boys began blackmailing her by threatening to post the video recordings and photos via social media.
A cop said the young lady had been tolerating their requests for cash. He stated: They gathered Rs 1.13 lakh from her and spent through the cash. The young girl additionally gave them one iPhone. We have recovered the telephone. They were requesting more cash and also a bike from her.
The young girl’s family developed suspicions when the young boys came to their home. They questioned the young girl, who uncovered the whole scene. The family filed a complaint with the police, which took up investigation and apprehended the three boys.
As per police, the blamed are not friends and are citizens of different regions in the city. One of them is a bike repairman.
Police have prompted guardians offering cell phones to youngsters for online classes to watch out for how they are being utilized.
