On Thursday, three separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana claimed the lives of eight people. The first accident occurred in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district, when a car carrying a family collided with an RTC bus on the Tirupati-Srikalahasti highway near Merlapaka Cheruvu in Yerpedu mandal. The family, from Telangana’s Mahabubabad district, was returning from Tirumala temple after darshan. Unfortunately, a couple and their infant were killed in the accident, while two others suffered significant injuries and were brought to Tirupati’s Ruia Hospital for treatment.
In the second accident, which occurred in Khammam district, Telangana, a car carrying a family was fatally crushed between two trucks at Konijerla. According to reports, the car was hit from the opposite way by a truck, and a truck behind it crashed with the car as well. As a result, three family members were killed on the spot, while two others were injured. The injured were immediately transferred to a hospital in Khammam, where one of them is still in severe condition. The victims of this accident were identified as Rajesh, Sujata, and their 13-year-old son Ashwith.
The third accident occurred in Telangana’s Rangareddy district, when a tractor toppled at Alwal crossroads in Keshampet mandal. Two people were killed and two more were injured in the horrific tragedy. The injured were taken to a hospital in Shadnagar for treatment.
These tragic car accidents have caused tremendous pain and sorrow for countless families who have lost loved ones. The injured victims are being treated, and authorities are conducting investigations to understand what caused these tragedies. Road safety is still a major concern, and efforts to raise awareness and prevent such incidents are critical.
