TRS seeks amendment in Centre’s 10 per cent reservation

Hyderabad: TRS MP Jithender Reddy today urged in Parliament to introduce the Telangana Assembly resolution for providing 12 per cent reservation to Muslims Minorities and 10 per cent to STs in the 10 per cent proposed reservation bill by the Centre. In the parliament he raised the issue of Telangana government seeking to provide reservations to categories to uplift them.

Our Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has sought the Centre for the same and the amendment should include our just demand he said. Also TRS MP B Vinod Kumar said that as per KCR instruction the TRS will raise the reservations for Muslims and STs in Telangana. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the bill is for uplifting the economically poor in upper castes and to do justice all sections.
