TS EAMCET: Madhapur boy tops in engineering, Guntur girl tops in AM stream

TS EAMCET Results 2022 have been announced today, August 12, 2022. The Toppers list for TS EAMCET 2022 has also been announced along with the result.

In the Engineering stream of the TS EAMCET 2022, Lakshmi Sai Lohith Reddy Pollu from Madhapur secured the first rank, while Neha Juturi of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, secured the first rank in the Agriculture and Medical stream.

At a press conference held at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, JNTU Hyderabad, Telangana State Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy announced the EAMCET results for 2022.

As for the Engineering stream, Polu Lakshmi Sai Lohith Reddy has secured the first rank and topped the EAMCET Results 2022 TS, while Sai Deepthika Nakka came in second place.

Neha Juturi has secured the top rank and topped the EAMCET Result 2022 TS for Agriculture and Medical, AM Stream, followed by Rohit Vantaku.

In the Engineering stream, the pass percentage was 80.41 percent, and in the AM stream, it was 88.34 percent.

Girls had a pass percentage of 82.33 in the engineering stream, while boys had a pass percentage of 79.2. Girls had a pass percentage of 89.17 in the AM stream, while boys had a pass percentage of 86.47.

The Education Minister announced that while around 10,000 seats are available in ECET, about 90% of the 22,000 candidates who took the test passed. ECET is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad for diploma or B Sc (Maths) degree holders seeking lateral entry into second-year regular B Tech or BE programs.

EAMCET Convener Govardhan said 1,56,860 candidates were present for the engineering stream of EAMCET, out of 1,72,238 candidates who registered. Among the 94,476 candidates who registered for the agriculture and medical streams, 80,575 showed up for the exam. Around 24,000 students registered for ECET, and around 22,000 candidates took the test.

EAMCET was conducted in 108 test centers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with 160 multiple choice questions. The scores were calculated using a normalization process. Counseling for engineering colleges will start soon, according to the Education Minister.
