Hyderabad: In a surprise move, some of TSRTC employees in Bhadrachalam depot have reportedly got a paltry single-digit salary of Rs 7 and below Rs 100 for June against their expectations of full salary.
While the RTC employees, who had got half salary for the last three months due to Corona lockdown effect and fewer buses being operated in districts, were expecting to get full salary for June they had to find themselves in surprise on receiving just Rs 7, Rs 57, Rs 77, Rs 999 and so on.
The RTC employees expressed concern and pain to get poor salary amount like Rs 7, Rs 77, Rs 99, Rs 1000 and Rs 5000 towards salary for June month.
As a result, the employee’s unions are reportedly said that they may take up another movement for the salaries. The state government is running a few buses in the districts and people are not daring to come out due to Corona fear.
The cases are increasing day by day and the RTC officials are not permitted to run city buses in Hyderabad and Metro rail services too. TSRTC has about 49000 employees and most of them get no much work due to the Corona pandemic.
