Amaravati: Two people have died in an accident that occurred in the Guntur Dist of Andhra Pradesh. According to the reports the ill-fated car in which they were traveling lost its balance and it jumped to the roadside canal in the wee hours of the day at Gokaranamatham Mandal of Guntur Dist.
The victims were returning after attending a marriage ceremony at Nizampatnam. The passer-by saved a person traveling in a car from drowning however the other two were drowned with the car.
Police have reached the spot after knowing about the accident and identified them as Sambasiva Rao, Rajender and undergoing the investigation after registering a case. A large number of people besides the passer-by were seen on the road after knowing about the accident.
Police have retrieved the bodies and they will be handed over their relatives after the autopsy. It may be recalled that another accident occurred in the Nandiyal Mandal of Kurnool Dist of Andhra Pradesh yesterday in which a disabled SBI employee burnt alive.
